The official list below outlines reserved time periods, not exams that have been confirmed. It is important to confirm with your teacher whether or not the final exam for a course will be scheduled during this time.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam content. Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. However it is crucial to note that the exam schedule may be altered at any time. Students should therefore consult their instructors to confirm the correct date and time of their test. Students should also print the official list of questions to bring with them to the exam.

Before taking the exam students must prepare by studying their course material and practice their German skills. The test is a paper-based test which measures the ability to read, speak, and write in German. The results of the exam are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded an Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate demonstrates the achievement of language level A1. This level is the first level of the six-level scale of competence that is set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of charge. Students must carry an ID that is valid for government purposes to the examination. Anyone who does not have a valid photo ID are disqualified from the examination.

Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you'll need to pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the course fee.
